omg wedding dress shopping is going to be SO fun but such a project. Because obviously I have to bring my mom, but she’ll insist on bringing my two aunts because my family members are basically attached at the hip to one another, so thats going to be three people. And then I of course can’t bring just one bridesmaid because I want all of you here and I can’t of course bring NO bridesmaid because, duh, I need everyones opinions and bonding, so I’ll just have to get all my bridesmaids to come shopping with me too, which is another five people, assuming everyone can come for the same time, so then I’ll have no choice but to be that bride who brings a million people to wedding dress shop.

But IDGAF because I love everyone who’s coming shopping and forsee the whole shopping experience as one big montage of Amy Sullo’s excited face.

OMG THANK YOU. i knew you had better taste, but weddings can make people go crazy, so i was a bit worried. i thought i’d leave a relatively neutral comment. whew.

hahahaha. Everyone is so sweet and supportive that I didn’t get the satisfaction of any texts/responses of “GURL THAT DRESS IS HIDEOUS (pronounced hi-DAY-ous obvi)” lol

Although Britt McGee was super sweet and was like, “i don’t care what kind of dress you put me in, i just wanna be there! even if i have to look like white swan with a fucking bow on my head” lolol

wait, i wanna know what this business is about you being anti phi-sig. that is absurd.

Oh. Last night during e-council elections they were going over everyone’s applications, and when they were reading mine, someone was like “IDK, she seems really anti-phi sig” and then someone else agreed saying that I (apparently) say negative things on twitter or whatever. And then someone else said that me asking the chapter why they need to drink so much that they throw up (even though I was health and wellness and the oldest one living here and thus the most embarrassed) was inappropriate. 

Basically they’re confusing me calling out their bad behavior with me just saying bad things about them altogether. 

So then today I had to have a chat with next year’s MAL because someone on exec got their panties in a bunch that I said on twitter that being pro phi sig must mean getting drunk and throwing up all over the bathroom because it apparently doesn’t mean caring and being involved. So it’s like Sorry I embarrassed you on the internet by simply stating that you were a drunk embarrassing idiot and someone actually doesn’t find it funny that you can’t remember anything from that night.

And I find it all hilarious because my whole paragraph thing about wanting to go on status was about wanting to remain involved with the chapter. NOT ANYMORE. I’m fine with not being acknowledged for participating more than pretty much everyone, but to go and say something like that about me makes me want to be just as pro-phi sig as everyone else and not show up to events and get way too drunk for everything.
